In all I have an experience of 1 year working with people as a therapist, and have a record of helping clients show improvement. I have clinical internship experience from Shifa international hospital Karachi of 3-5months, where I have worked with disorders such as depression, bipolar, schizophrenia and suicidal patients and general mental health concerns. In that assessment, clinical intake, MSE, history taking, applying test batteries and therapies accordingly and making case reports were carried out. Apart from this I have worked with an intellectually disabled child teaching her to discriminate between 2 colors using discrete trial training, one of the techniques of ABA. I have also worked/interned as an executive/life coach online dealing with daily life problems and their resolutions, and have also volunteered online as a therapist at some platforms. I mostly use CBT, SFBT, REBT, some gestalt therapy and eclectic approach employing the bio-psycho-social model for evaluation and have mostly worked with adults.
I am currently up-skilling and taking a certification course in CBT and will take one in DBT as well, and will be taking on 2 psychology internships shortly. I have taken a short course in NLP and Hypnosis too.
